Patterns

Ankara Patterns: Known for their vibrant colors and bold designs, Ankara patterns often feature geometric shapes, floral motifs, and abstract designs. These patterns are printed onto cotton fabric through a wax-resist dyeing technique, creating distinctive and colorful textiles.

Kente Patterns: Originating from Ghana, Kente cloth is characterized by its intricate weaving and bright, multicolored patterns. Traditional Kente patterns include geometric shapes, symbols, and stripes, each with specific meanings and cultural significance.

Batik Patterns: Batik involves dyeing fabric with patterns by applying wax to areas that will resist the dye. The resulting patterns can range from simple dots and lines to complex floral and abstract motifs, often featuring a crackled effect from the wax.

Dashiki Patterns: The Dashiki is a garment that often features elaborate designs around the neckline, chest, and sleeves. These patterns can include symmetrical shapes, tribal motifs, and detailed embroidery, set against a solid background color.

Adire Patterns: Adire is a traditional Yoruba textile that involves tie-dye or batik processes to create indigo-dyed cloth with intricate patterns. Common motifs include circles, squares, and animal shapes, arranged in a repeating fashion.
